Equine Transport Tyre Cover membership Scheme

Commercial Tyre Services has launched the first of its kind tyre cover scheme to address the needs highlighted within the equestrian market. Members of the scheme are provided with a freephone number to call in the event of tyre assistance being needed for horse boxes and trailers anywhere in the UK. Members also enjoy the benefits of fixed pricing policies and free inspections at sites around the country.

Tyre Major Repair Centre

Commercial Tyre Services are delighted to announce the opening of their Major Repair Centre for all truck, agricultural and plant tyres. Caroline Haines Director of Commercial Tyre Services says “in response to customer feedback we have invested in all the necessary equipment, materials, staff and training to ensure that we can now offer a complete service to all our customers and ensure that disruption to the running of their fleets is kept to an absolute minimum. This type of repair work is also very beneficial to the environment in cutting down the number of tyres that have to be scrapped as opposed to being repaired”

Commercial Tyre Services invests in state of the art Commercial Wheel Balancing and Commercial Laser Alignment equipment.

Caroline Haines, Director of Commercial Tyre Services reports that "We have progressively been seeing more and more fleet vehicles coming to us over the last 12 months showing excessive and abnormal wear patterns forming. Not only does this reduce the life of the tyre but also increases fuel consumption.We have invested heavily in this new equipment and already our customers are seeing improved tyre and fuel performance for their vehicles”.

The Commercial Laser Alignment service is fully mobile, thereby allowing vehicles to benefit from this equipment if they are unable to travel to our Worcestershire depot.

Computerised Fleet Checking Equipment

Commercial Tyre Services are pleased to announce the introduction of computerised fleet checking equipment to complement there commitment to service policy. The InfoRoute system allows tyre inspections to be carried out on site and captured data is then electronically relayed back to the company’s computer system, instantly allowing faults and required action to be identified. Paul Hancox, Commercial Tyre Services logistics manager says “By investing in the InfoRoute system it has cut delays and paperwork, by allowing us to plan service jobs and therefore maximise fitter productivity”
